Trinket is the moniker of Brooklyn-based jangle poppers Madison Kate Proffitt and Sean Camargo. The band's name hints at their sound; something bittersweet, packed with a sentimentality you can feel, but can’t quite touch. Seeking out to combine love (and loss) songs with searing guitars and tender lyrics, Trinket exists with both feet firmly planted in the space between indie pop and shoegaze. 

Proffitt and Camargo released their debut EP ‘New Hobby’ on UK based label Sad Club Records in 2024. The songs are punchy and poppy, mapping out frontwoman Madison Kate’s first attempts at love. Nervous pangs in the heart and gut, joy, and grief. Put those headphones on, go for a walk, and feel it all.
